Horseback Riding
Looking for a unique experience to highlight your visit to the Big Sky? Book a horseback ride with Cedar Mountain Corrals at Moonlight Basin. Explore trails that previously have never been accessible to the public on horseback, including Lee Metcalf Wilderness, Beehive Basin, North Fork drainage, and Bear Basin.

Explore Moonlight Basin’s Hiking & Biking Trails
Explore our 16 miles of breathtaking public summer trails by foot or bicycle, including the Ulery’s Loop and Madison Loop trails. Ulerys Loop is a scenic 3.9 mile loop that starts at the Moonlight Lodge and wraps around Ulery’s Lake. The 4 mile Madison Loop is specifically designed for mountain biking, and features fun, rolling terrain. (No motorized vehicles are allowed on Moonlight Basin Trails)

REMEMBER-SAFETY FIRST!
Moonlight Basin is home to many wild and woolly creatures, like bears and moose. Always be alert and prepared when exploring trails- carry bear spray and water, make noise, and never hike alone.

Explore Yellowstone National Park
No trip to the Big Sky area would be complete without a visit to Yellowstone National Park. The World’s first national park, Yellowstone is home to over 10,000 thermal features, most notably the world famous Old Faithful geyser, as well as 400 species of animals including elk, moose, grizzly bears, and bison. Take a drive around the grand loop road and experience many of the main attractions the park has to offer. If you are feeling a bit more adventurous, explore some of the thousands of miles of hiking trails the park has to offer.
Big Sky Resort’s Basecamp
Big Sky Resort’s Basecamp is located just 2 miles from Moonlight Basin, and offers a variety of fun family-friendly activities like ziplining, scenic lift rides, a high ropes course, bungee trampoline and more!

Guided Fly Fishing Adventures
