Moonlight Basin Ski Resort Opens for the Season

BIG SKY, Mont. (December 11, 2008) –

After much anticipation, Moonlight Basin officially opens for the 2008-09 ski season.

“With the recent snow, Moonlight Basin is opening with great skiing on the upper mountain. We are opening with Iron Horse Six Shooter and Derringer lifts. We expect to open additional lifts with predicted snowfall this weekend” announced Greg Pack, Resort General Manager. "Our goal is to open with a quality product and provide our guests with the conditions they have come to expect," says Pack.

Guests can ski opening day for half day rate of $45.
