SUMMER WINTER

Moonlight Basin Kicks Off the Season with the Grand Opening of the Entryway

December 9th 2008, Big Sky, Montana – On December 11, Moonlight Basin Resort kicks the ski season off by unveiling their newest amenity, the Moonlight Welcome Entryway.

Moonlight Basin’s concierge team will assist guests as soon as they enter the resort. This team will be available both inside and out offering guests directions, answering questions and updates on the mountain’s events and activities.

Upon entering Moonlight, you will certainly be impressed by Lone Peak towering above the magnificent stone and glass entryway. This handsome structure is clad entirely with mossy Ledger Rock from Northern Montana and beautifully aged recycled timbers, sourced through our local venders. At dusk, it is warmly lit by many large hand-forged chandeliers from Fire Mountain Forge in nearby Livingston, MT.

Lee Poole, owner of Moonlight Basin Resort, commented, “When we asked Locati Architects to design this entryway, our request was to ensure that everyone who entered our resort felt welcome and invited. Touches like a living room, stone fireplace and custom furnishings selected by Moonlight Interiors make you feel like you are entering our home. Team members will be available outside to welcome our owners, lodging guests and the general public with genuine Montana hospitality.”

The opening of the Welcome Entryway will kick off the opening of their ski season on December 12, 2008 in a Grand Way!
