Can you arrange a guide for me? What if I’ve never been fly fishing before?Absolutely, we work exclusively with Montana Trout Stalkers, a local outfitter who is prepared to take guests out guided trips floating in a drift boat or walk and wading in one of our surrounding rivers. Guide trips are suitable for both novice and experienced anglers. For those who have not been fly fishing before, guides will provide a brief casting lesson before heading out on the river. What are the prices for a guide?A full day wade or float is $450.00 and is approximately eight hours. Lunch is included with a full day guided trip. Are there any options for someone who doesn’t want a guided trip?We can arrange for a fly fishing clinic at camp to give you a basic understanding of casting. These clinics provide basic beginner fly casting instruction and an introduction to the sport of fly fishing. No on-stream instruction will be provided, rather they are conducted on the lawn area at camp and are designed to teach the fundamentals of fly casting.Clinics are conducted on an hourly basis and accommodate up to four people. Rate is $125 per hour. What should we wear to dinner? Is it fancy? Please dress casual as camp is a rustic environment. Although it may be a warm day when you arrive, it can get very chilly in the evening, so please bring layers (we recommend a fleece-type jacket, long pants and socks for the late evening). We recommend guests wear solid shoes (flip flops and open toed sandals are not recommended). The camp does have some uneven ground. Is your camp wheelchair accessible? While the ground is uneven and camp is primitive, with the help of a friend or family member previous wheelchair-bound guests have enjoyed camp. What are the rules/guidelines for children? We do have child size lifejackets available for use. We suggest that all children under 5 wear a lifejacket while at camp. We ask that you respect the river and be aware and take caution when walking and playing around its banks.Parents, please watch your children very carefully around camp. Do not allow your children to run near the river bank. Although our camp staff will do our best to keep an eye on all guests, parents must be responsible for the safety of their children. We have positioned our children’s play tepee far from the riverbank and packed with fun toys and games. Are dogs allowed at the camp? With loving and caring boarding facilities just minutes from camp, we have made the decision that for our furry friend’s safety and best interest, we are not allowing dogs at camp during regular camp hours. If you are buying out camp for a special occasion or for a private stay with us, we are more than happy to make exceptions. What is the deposit and cancellation policy?Lodging Guests Policy: A 30% deposit is due at the time of booking.
