Adult Lessons
First Timer Adult Group Lessons - Discover Moonlight Basin
A perfect launch pad for those who have never skied or snowboarded before. No question is too silly: our instructors know that the proper foundation accelerates your learning. Moonlight Basin’s friendly instructors guide you from buckling into your boots for the first time to linking your first real turns – just what you need to begin a lifetime of snowy memories.
Day 1, Discover Moonlight Basin
First, we help you with all the basics: finding boots that fit, choosing the right skis or snowboard, and clicking into your bindings. Then our encouraging instructors introduce you to our smoothest terrain, where you can safely learn to start, stop, steer, and turn.

Day 2, Discover Moonlight Basin
Now that you’ve mastered the basics, our half-day refresher class introduces you to new tricks and tips, allowing you to access to more of the mountain. Spend the rest of the day exploring Moonlight Basin’s flawless groomers.

Day 3, Discover Moonlight Basin
By day three, you’ll be ready for more advanced techniques. Complete the final day of the Discover Moonlight Basin package with a half-day lesson and we’ll reward you with a free mid-week season pass. The pass is valued at $355, but the free practice time is priceless.

Total for three days of Discover Moonlight Basin package: $297 PLUS complete all three days and receive a free 2009-2010 mid-week season pass, a $395 value.
Adult Group Lessons
Our small, supportive group classes inspire skiers and snowboarders to build skills and gain confidence – all while soaking up the natural beauty of Moonlight Basin. With a range of classes designed for first-timers through experts, students of any level glide away from class with improved proficiency. Thanks to our friendly, accommodating attitude, classes feel more like a day on the slopes with friends. Reservations are recommended, especially during the holiday seasons. All adult group lessons meet at the Madison Base Area.
