HATCHfest September 30 through October 3 Open to the public HATCHfest is an international non-profit arts and mentorship festival. Founded upon mentorship, HATCH brings together award-winning veterans in diverse creative industries with individuals from around the world to inspire, educate and empower. Join us for 4 days of festival activities and programs. HATCHfest Schedule Films Every year HATCH has been privileged to screen Oscar winners and blockbusters. Join us this year as the tradition continues with feature films such as Touching Home and Whip It!. Groundbreakers “Groundbreakers” are the stars of the festival, they are the future of creative industries. Jury selected from hundreds of submissions, student artists are flown in from around the world to showcase their work and interact with this year’s mentors. The 6th Annual HATCHfest Kids Day, Saturday, October 3, 2009, invites kids ages 8-12 to join IDEO Labs, a Palo Alto-based global design consultancy that has licensed more than 125 toy, game, and youth concepts for toy manufacturers, to envision and design their dream ultimate playground.
