When you rent from Moonride Rentals, your equipment is waxed and stored overnight, making travel to and from the mountain easy and stress-free. Please see the Ski Valet in Guest Services to arrange for this complimentary service.

Looking for new gear? Our equipment experts can advise you on gear options to suit your skill level and objectives. The Moonlight Mercantile, located at the Madison Base Area, offers Salomon, Rossignol, and Stöckli for demo. Skis are available first thing in the morning or by reservation the previous night. Equipment swaps during the day are allowed. Two days of demo fees will be applied toward the purchase of new skis.

Get the most from your equipment and your time at Moonlight Basin with our state-of-the-art ski and snowboard tuning shop, featuring Wintersteiger equipment and Grindrite tuning machines. From a basic wax or binding check to repairing a blown-out edge, we can do it all!

Tune @ Noon!

Drop off your equipment between 12 p.m.-1 p.m. and receive a fresh edge and hot wax for just $18! The tune up is done while you are at lunch, so your equipment is once again ready to go when you are. Located at the Madison Village Base Area at Mountain Concierge.

Ski Patrol

On duty during winter from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., the Moonlight Basin Ski Patrol is happy to help you enjoy your visit. These dedicated professionals are ready to quickly respond to injuries and issues as they occur.

Patrollers wear red coats with white crosses on each sleeve and the Moonlight Basin logo on the left chest pocket. On-mountain Ski Patrol is located at the top of the Six Shooter and Lone Tree lifts and at the access gate to the North Summit Snow Field.
