Ski & Ride EventsThe 5th Annual Headwaters Spring Runoff kicked off Friday, April 2 with fresh snow, blue skies, and an evening of pasta and Cold Smoke Awards movies. The next morning, a spring storm brought in 7 inches of new snow and less than ideal conditions. Competitors were able to complete the hike segment of the competition; however conditions delayed the freeride segment until Sunday morning. Despite the delay, the competitors turned out to go BIG and put on a amazing show of talent, proving once again that Headwaters Spring Runoff is the spectators event you don't want to miss! With competitors from all over the state and surrounding areas, this was an event to remember. The day was gorgeous with sunny skies and mid 30 degree temperatures. The rails our Zero Gravity crew set up were features that definitely challenged competitors and encouraged jaw dropping tricks.
