Skiwees

Skiwees is a 6 week specialized SnowSports program designed as a starter program for skiers ages 3 & 4 yrs. Always, under the careful guidance of experienced instructors, students in the Skiwees program will develop fundamental skills to start off on the right foot. But more importantly, they’ll do it while making friends and having FUN!

Sunday Program - January 17th, 24th, 31st; February 7th, 21st, 28th

Monday Program - January 18th, 25th; February 1st, 8th, 22nd; March 1st

Tuesday Program - January 19th, 26th; February 2nd, 9th, 23rd; March 2nd

Friday Program – January 22st, 29th; February 5th, 12th, 26th; March 5th

Time:Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 9 am - 12 pm. Sunday 10 am – 1 pm
Registration Fee: $200.00
Ratio: 1 coach to 3 children, maximum.

Lift tickets are required for all participants. Children 10yrs and under ski for free at Moonlight Basin and can obtain a season pass through the Season Pass Office.

All Mountain Kids - FULL FOR THE 2009-2010 SEASON

This specialty 6 week SnowSports program is designed for young skiers and riders aged 4 – 14 yrs. Always, under the careful guidance of experienced coaches, students in the All Mountain Kids program will build confidence and develop skills in a safe and supportive environment. But more importantly, they’ll do it while making friends and having FUN!

Who: The program is open to kids ages, Alpine (4 - 14yrs); Snowboarding (7 - 14yrs)
Day/Time: Saturdays, 9:30am – 3:00pm
Registration Fee: $340.00
Ratio: Junior kids 4-6yrs: 1 coach to 3 children, maximum. Senior kids 7-14yrs: 1 coach to 5 children, maximum.

Please be aware that lower level groups will be coached in the fundamentals of skiing or riding until they reach an ability level that will allow them to safely move into more advanced terrain. Program will conclude with a party for participants, parents and coaches.

Freeride Team

Moonlight Basin is excited to offer a “Freeride Team” training program. Building on our very successful All Mountain Kids program, the “Freeride Team” has been developed for those that have regularly participated in our AMK program or are new to Moonlight Basin and want to explore the more competitive side to SnowSports. The program will encompass park and big mountain. Each session will be focused on developing technical & tactical skills, terrain/feature knowledge, and athlete safety.

Who: The program is open to athletes aged, 7 – 17yrs

Day/Time: Saturdays, 9:00am – 3:00pm

Program Fee: 16 week program + One Holiday Camp* $750.00

Ratio: 1 coach to 6 athletes, maximum.

* Program fee includes one four day holiday camp. Please indicate which camp you wish to attend on the registration form.

Headwaters Challenge

Fancy testing yourself on Moonlight Basin’s challenging terrain? Would you like to be accompanied by one of our very experienced instructors, guiding you to challenging slopes whilst providing great tips along the way to make your turns more efficient and less taxing? Then join us for the Headwaters Challenge. Sample some of the terrain that makes Moonlight Basin the most exciting terrain choice in North America. Rally up some friends and explore Moonlight Basin today. Groups are kept 1 instructor to 3 guests, this allows groups to move freely, enable ample tips and feedback and ensure group safety. Lone Peak Challenge

You’ve seen it from afar and now you want to take up the challenge! Join us for a full day guided trip with some great technical tip along the way, to the challenging North Summit Snow Field of Lone Peak. Accessed via Big Sky Mountain Resort you will be guided by our experienced Alpine Guides to this fantastic terrain. Groups are kept to 1 alpine guide to 3 guests. A safety pack containing a shovel, probe and transceiver is required along with the ability to use it. Packs are available for rental as well as training on its use. A Biggest Skiing in America lift ticket is required. Advanced reservations are recommended.

Lone Peak Challenge - Not including Biggest Skiing in America ticket: $499.00
