Moonlight Basin is Hosting its 5th Headwaters Spring Runoff - April 3

This is a one-of-a-kind big mountain event that draws an amazing caliber of skiers, riders and telemarkers from all across the region. Moonlight Basin’s Headwaters, known as the steepest in-bound terrain, becomes the focal point for this exciting amateur hike and freeride competition. Its high visibility and energy level makes it a great spectator event!

Headwaters Spring Runoff KICKOFF Celebration - April 2

Moonlight Basin is excited to add a KICKOFF Celebration to this popular event! Friday competitors are invited to preview the terrain then, that evening competitors and their supporters are invited to join us for a fun evening of festivities. Sure to make for two energy-packed days!

What: Celebrate the Headwaters Spring Runoff with Ski Movies and a Pasta Feed

Who: Open to the Public - Competitors, Spectators, Locals, Guests

Location: Headwaters Grille

Time: 5:30-7:30pm

Early Bird Special at the Moonlight Spa

Feeling sore after a day on the slopes? Take advantage of the Moonlight Spa’s Early Bird Special. Book an appointment for any spa treatment between 9am to 12 pm and receive a 15% discount off your service. A great way to start your day off right.

Did you know that our daycare, Moonlight Kids, offers a loyalty rates and programs, as well as Moonlight Basin employee discounts?
  • Big Sky Chamber members, Moonlight Basin and Biggest Skiing in America season pass holders receive 10% off the daily rate.
  • Moonlight Kids loyalty program allows parents to purchase 10 days at a $100 savings! The cost: $550 for kids ages 3 years and older; $750 for kids under 3 and includes morning and afternoon snacks plus lunch. All days must be used by closing day, April 11, 2010.
  • Moonlight Basin employees receive 30% off the daily rate (based on availability).

Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides

Sleigh Rides
Moonlight Basin and Cedar Mountain Corrals have teamed to offer horse drawn sleigh rides! Come enjoy a scenic sleigh ride to a rustic yurt on the edge of Ulreys Lake. A bonfire, s’mores and hot beverages await your arrival. Fell free to relax, take in the peaceful surrounding and enjoy a variety of snowy activities.

Zero Gravity Terrain Park

The Zero Gravity Terrain Park is currently expanding the park for the 2009-10 season. The expansion of the park includes widening and leveling the grade of the run. The expansion will allow for:
  • Better spacing of features
  • Easier flow through the park for riders
  • Improved feature placement for riders and spectators
