One&Only is heading to the United States.
The brand’s first resort in North America, One&Only Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Montana, is set to open in 2024 and marks a “a significant step in the continued evolution and growth of the One&Only brand,” according to Brett Armitage, chief commercial officer of hotel operator Kerzner International.
Beyond it being the brand’s first resort in North America, One&Only Moonlight Basin will also be its first alpine resort, located between the Lone Peak and Spanish Peaks, offering access to Big Sky skiing.
Designed by architect Olson Kundig, One&Only Moonlight Basin will include 73 guestrooms and suites in the main lodge, along with 19 secluded villas throughout the resort, a separate ski lodge, three restaurants and a Chenot Spa. In addition, the resort will introduce the first community of One&Only Private Homes in the U.S., offering 62 private residences with up to six bedrooms. The free-standing Olson Kundig-designed homes will offer a contemporary design, complete with glass.
